           IN REALITY                                       (Matt. 25:31-40)

IN A FAR AWAY KINGDOM

I ‘VE IMAGINED LATE AT NIGHT

THERE’S A CITY ON A MOUNTAIN

SHINING BRIGHTLY FULL OF LIGHT

I SEE LITTLE CHILDREN LAUGHING

AND PLAYING IN THE STREETS

THEY’LL NEVER BE HUNGRY

NOR HAVE A PLACE TO SLEEP

I PICTURED IN THAT CITY

STREETS PAVED WITH GOLD

I SAW BEGGARS AND ORPHANS

DRESSED IN THEIR WHITE ROBES

ROLLS AND ROLLS OF MANSIONS

AN ENDLESS CRYSTAL SEA

VISIONS OF SPLENDOR

BEYOND THE WILDEST DREAMS

CHORUS:

HERE IN REALITY

THERE’S PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP

HOMELESS SEEKING SHELTER

CHILDREN NEEDING FED

SOME DAY IN HEAVEN JESUS WILL SAY

WHEN I WAS COLD YOU CLOTHED ME

WHEN I WAS HUNGRY YOU GAVE BREAD

I’M WAITING FOR THIS KINGDOM

I BELIEVE WITH ALL MY SOUL

THAT SOME DAY UP IN HEAVEN

I’LL SEE THESE SIGHTS UNFOLD

BUT I CANNOT CLOSE MY EYES

TO ALL THE PAIN AND SORROW

I CAN SHARE WITH MY BROTHERS

WHILE I’M WAITING HERE BELOW

CHORUS:
