A Kings Ransom

Once a king looked down from heaven

and saw a great need

so many lost and broken

The world had been deceived

but a debt was owed for them

he knew they couldn’t pay

so he came down to them

and paid a ransom one day

A King paid a ransom for me

even through I was unworthy

a beggar so unclean

he left his throne in Heaven

so I could go free

yes a king paid a ransom for me

Now to some it just a story

still so many won’t believe

they refuse to accept his ransom

They killed the King of kings

But to those who will receive it

a free pardon is received

he says come to my kingdom

and join the family
